$12.07 per hour or higher, depending on qualifications

Guest Services employees are the keystone of our customers’ library experiences. You are the professional who greets them with warmth when they come through the door and welcomes them to our fair library. You are knowledgeable about all of the library, what services each department provides, and what products and programs each customer might find interesting. You are the guide for our customers’ journeys into the world of Addison Public Library.

What you’ll need for success

  • High school degree, (some college preferred)
  • Ability to communicate in English skillfully
  • Ability to speak fluent, conversational Spanish (preferred)
  • Proficiency with computers, including troubleshooting, MS Office products, copiers and printers, and ILS systems.
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time, as well as ability to bend, crouch, twist, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive actions with your hands and arms.
