The Geneva Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic and engaged person to join our Customer Service Team. We pride ourselves on connecting our community to discover, inspire and grow and delivering service at the level of WOW! The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal skills and have a desire to serve our community.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be able to demonstrate keyboard proficiency of 30 WPM or greater
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and PC use
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 10 pounds, push a cart loaded with library materials, and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be customer-service oriented. Flexibility in scheduling highly desirable
  • Must be available during December and the summer. Schedule varies according to departmental needs
  • Must be available mornings, evenings, and weekends

Training begins mid-November. Availability for occasional substitute work year ’round is desirable.
