Job Title: Adult Services Assistant
Part Time
15 hours per week, Tuesdays 5:00-9:00, Sundays 1:00-5:00, other times as needed.
Salary range is $14.46 go $21.32 per hour based upon qualifications and experience.
Position Description: 

This is a paraprofessional Library position.  The Adult Services Assistant performs a wide variety of clerical and paraprofessional tasks necessary in planning and implementing the Library’s Adult Services programs and activities.

Education:      Library Technical Certificate (LTA) and/or Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:    Two years Library experience, or one year reference experience.

Skills:              Demonstrated ability in interpersonal and communication skills to satisfy positive interaction with patrons, staff, and others.  Able to prioritize work, remain focused, and pay close attention to detail.  Ability to communicate in Spanish, both verbally and in writing is a plus.
