Position:
Media Aide
Westmont High School
Ten-month position/180 days + holidays (school year)
Seven hours per day
(Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Starting date:  
January 4, 2016
(Possible earlier start date to work with current Media Aide)

Minimum qualifications:

  • 60 hours of college coursework, or
  • An approved teacher aide program, or
  • A passing score on the ParaPro test, or
  • Passing the relevant Work Keys tests to be considered highly qualified by the ISBE
  • Understanding of library systems, circulation and organization
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with parents, students, and staff

Compensation:   
Commensurate with experience
