Working with mature adults in our community is interesting, enjoyable, and highly rewarding. Consider joining our senior services team and have fun as you help older customers connect with their popular culture interests and master current technology.
Provides advisory services by selecting, preparing and delivering materials to homebound residents and customers at senior healthcare sites in the community. We need an avid reader with broad knowledge of books, music and movies to make recommendations for appropriate reading, listening and viewing materials.  Will lead book discussions, technology instruction, and other outreach programs at senior sites in the community.


Interest and demonstrated knowledge in popular culture and current technology. Experience working with older adults preferred.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Excellent customer service skills, problem solving and attention to detail. Effective communications skills in working with the public, staff and volunteers. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills. Proficient in Windows environment, MS Office Suite and using the Internet.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in related field required.  Experience in customer service or group instruction preferred.
Hours and Scheduling:
Part time position, 22 hours/week. Typically daytime hours Monday-Friday and some Saturday morning shifts; position occasionally requires hours until 6 p.m. Requires availability for scheduling variations.
Salary and Benefits:
Starting hourly rate $16.21 to $19.07/hour depending on qualifications.
